This policy describes the operations system of Centretown Mosque, 397 Kent St, Ottawa (“the mosque”, “we”). The mosque team, volunteers, and members use it to run programs, events, projects, worship duties, and finances.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, and phone number, if you give them.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not get your Google password or any other Google data.
- Your part in mosque programs: the programs you join, the duties you take, the tasks you do, and program fee status.
- Records of donations and payments that the mosque team enters, for accounting and receipts.
How we use it
- To let you log in and see the parts of the system that your role allows.
- To organize programs, worship duties, and volunteer work.
- To keep accurate financial records, as a registered Canadian charity must.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Only mosque admins can see the full records. Volunteers see their own tasks and duties. Members see their own programs. Our service providers store the data for us: Supabase (database and login) and Railway (hosting).
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you take part in mosque activities. We keep financial records for as long as Canadian charity rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information. Email info@centretownmosque.ca. You can change your name and phone number on your profile page at any time.
